Brandon Mercik

Brandon Mercik serves as the Director of Operations and Finance for Executive Degree and Executive Education programs at NYU Stern School of Business, where he leads the strategic planning, logistics, and financial oversight of over 50 global executive learning experiences annually. With a commitment to operational excellence, Mercik manages complex program budgets, directs a multi-functional team, and partners closely with key stakeholders and global institutions to deliver seamless, high-impact programming.
Spanning more than a decade, Mercik’s career in higher education has included progressive leadership roles in executive education, international program development, relationship management, and strategic event execution. He is known for his ability to balance white-glove client service with financial rigor and operational efficiency. As a trusted relationship manager and collaborator, he has played a pivotal role in driving NYU’s Executive Education mission forward. A firm believer in the power of structure and strategy, he brings both to every challenge—from optimizing complex logistics to streamlining budget models.
Mercik holds both a Master of Science in Project Management and a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Chemistry from New York University. Outside of NYU, Mercik is likely exploring a new city, deep into binging a reality competition show, or being outmaneuvered by his spirited Shiba Inu, Kenzo—who seems to think he is the real boss. .
