Our Location

NYU Stern Executive Education programs are held in the heart of New York City on NYU’s Greenwich Village campus. Situated in one of the world’s foremost business and cultural capitals, you will be able to take advantage of all that New York City has to offer. Programs are held in our modern classrooms in the Kaufman Management Center located at 44 West Fourth Street.

Arriving by Plane

New York City is central to three major airports:

> John F. Kennedy Airport (Queens)
> La Guardia Airport (Queens)
> Newark Airport (New Jersey)

Taxis and car services are available at all three airports. Plan on spending at least $50 to $60 depending on the airport and time of day.

Arriving by Train

There are two train stations located in Midtown Manhattan: Grand Central Terminal, which services Metro-North railroad lines, and Pennsylvania Station, which services commuter rail and Amtrak lines in the Northeast Corridor.

Catching a Cab or Ride Share

To get around the city, you can hail taxis or use a ride sharing app like Uber or Lyft from virtually any location within Manhattan. If you are coming to campus, ask your driver to take you to West Fourth Street and Greene Street.

General Tips:

If the roof light on top of the taxi is lit, the taxi is ready to take a fare. When the light is dark, the taxi is either occupied or off-duty. Adjust your expectations if you need to get somewhere fast around 4:00pm or 5:00pm; at that time of day, it may take longer to hail a taxi due to shift change.

Often tolls are in addition to the fare and not included on the meter. Tipping a courteous taxi driver is customary in New York City.

Taking the Subway

Run by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), the following subway stops are located close to the NYU Stern campus:
