About the Program

Harnessing the depth of expertise across NYU Stern, this program brings together distinguished faculty and thought leaders from departments including Finance, Technology, Operations, and Statistics (TOPS), Business and Society, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship to offer a truly interdisciplinary perspective on AI’s impact on business and society. Faculty include leading experts such as Alex Tuzhilin, Robert Seamans, Vasant Dhar, Arun Sundararajan, and Michael Posner.

Day 1: Laying the Foundation (April 6, 2026)

Day 1 is dedicated to establishing a comprehensive understanding of Artificial Intelligence and its strategic management within an organization. Students will begin with an Introduction to AI, covering the fundamental concepts and landscape of AI. This will be followed by Strategic Management of AI, focusing on how C-suite executives can strategically integrate and govern AI initiatives within their companies. The day concludes with an evening reception or private group dinner, offering a networking opportunity for participating executives.

Day 2: AI, Economic Architecture, and the New Economy (April 7, 2026)

Day 2 shifts the focus to the cognitive and economic impact of AI. The morning sessions on Thinking with Machines will explore an historical perspective of AI, providing insights into leveraging machine thinking for better decision-making. The afternoon features AI and the Architecture of the New Economy which will examine how AI is fundamentally reshaping business models, market structures, and the global economy. The day culminates in a private group dinner or evening reception.

Day 3: Ethical Implementation and Real-World Application (April 8, 2026)

The morning of Day 3 is dedicated to the critical governance and social implications of AI with AI, Ethics & The Global Corporation, providing a crucial examination of the ethical responsibilities and risks associated with deploying AI. The afternoon offers a crucial real-world context through a site visit to an NYC based tech company, start-up, etc. The visit will provide firsthand exposure to the practical implementation and challenges of AI in a modern business environment.

Day 4: The AI Playbook, Closure, and Cultural Immersion (April 9, 2026)

Day 4 synthesizes the week's lessons, beginning with The Gen AI Playbook for Organizations. This session will provide a concrete strategy and roadmap for implementing generative AI within organizations, followed by a guest speaker / panel discussion featuring a Head of AI/Innovation, CTO, or AI Start-up CEO, offering executive-level perspectives. The day concludes with the Certificate Ceremony, and a private visit to a museum or other NYU cultural institution.
