The Client

A large multi-national conglomerate holding company. The client's target audience for the program is senior business and functional leaders from a cross-section of the organization’s companies, CEOs and Managing Directors, and profit center and business line heads.

The Challenge

The organization, together with NYU Stern Executive Education, developed a custom program to equip its leaders with the necessary tools to create value and sustain growth in times of economic turbulence.
Executives, who often felt limited by their day-to-day schedules, wanted a chance to come off-site to think strategically about the direction of their business.
As a group that primarily grows through acquisitions, the organization aimed to deepen its understanding of where firm value arises and where it can be destroyed.
Key program objectives were to critically and systematically think about the value consequences of a variety of firm decisions and to identify the best way forward.

The Solution
