What are NYU Stern Executive Education Programs?

NYU Stern’s Executive Education Open-Enrollment Programs offer high-impact learning for busy executives, led by expert faculty. These programs provide practical insights through lectures, discussions, and activities, with various format options to suit your schedule.

There are two types of programs available to alumni under Stern Executive Education:
1. Open-Enrollment Programs
2. Focused Programs

OPEN-ENROLLMENT PROGRAMS:

In Person Open-Enrollment Programs: Complete a program in just 2 to 5 days with intensive, live sessions. Perfect for professionals seeking quick, focused skill-building with minimal commitment beyond class time. Choose an in-person program for hands-on learning on NYU’s campus or see below for online programs with interactive, faculty-led virtual sessions available from anywhere in the world. (Please note that in-person programs cannot be attended virtually.)

Online Open-Enrollment Programs: Both synchronous and asynchronous options available, ranging from 2 day to semester long programs. Ideal for self-motivated professionals balancing learning with a busy schedule.

NYU Stern alumni can use their Lifelong Learning benefit to waive tuition for up to two Executive Education Open-Enrollment Programs per academic year (Sep 1 - Aug 31). There is a 50% discount on additional programs after these. Enrollment is subject to availability and approval, with administrative fees applicable.

Administrative Fees for Open-Enrollment Programs are assessed as follows:

• In-person and live-online programs: $100 per program day (e.g., a 2-day program incurs a $200 fee)

• Online Asynchronous programs: 10% of total tuition

• Programs with coaching components (such as Communication Strategies) may incur additional fees

FOCUSED PROGRAMS:

NYU Stern’s Executive Education Focused Programs are non-degree courses and certificate programs designed for specialized audiences with focused topics that feature our faculty thought leaders and/or collaboration with partners. 

NYU Stern alumni can use their Lifelong Learning benefit to receive 50% discount on Focused Programs. Seats are offered based on availability and alumni applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

How to Apply Your Lifelong Learning Benefit to Waive Tuition for Executive Education Programs
