What are NYU Stern Executive Education Certificate Programs?
NYU Stern’s Executive Education Open-Enrollment Certificate Programs offer high-impact learning for busy executives, led by expert faculty. These programs provide practical insights through lectures, discussions, and activities, with various format options to suit your schedule.
Live Programs: Earn a certificate in just 2 to 5 days with intensive, live sessions. Perfect for professionals seeking quick, focused skill-building with minimal commitment beyond class time. Choose an in-person program for hands-on learning on NYU’s campus or a live-online program for interactive, faculty-led virtual sessions from anywhere in the world. (Please note that in-person programs cannot be attended virtually.)
Online Self-Paced Programs: Asynchronous, semester-long certificate programs offer flexibility and optional live-online faculty-led sessions. Expect weekly assignments and work. Ideal for self-motivated professionals balancing learning with a busy schedule.

How to Apply Your Lifelong Learning Benefit to Waive Tuition for Executive Education Certificate Programs
NYU Stern alumni can use their Lifelong Learning benefit to waive tuition for up to two Executive Certificate Programs per academic year (Sep 1 - Aug 31). There is a 50% discount on additional programs after these. Enrollment is subject to availability and approval, with administrative fees applicable.
Administrative Fees:
Live Programs (in-person or live-online): Fees are typically $100 per 6 hours of instruction. Programs with coaching may incur additional fees.
Online Self-Paced Programs: 10% of the program cost (e.g., $220 for a $2200 certificate program).
Enrollment & Availability:
Seats are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. Apply using the alumni-specific links below, and we’ll confirm your application and send an invoice if a seat becomes available. You’ll be officially registered once payment is made.
Please note: Waitlists may apply. If waitlisted, we will confirm receipt of your application and notify you of your status. If a seat becomes available, you will be notified within 30 days of the program start date and invoiced at that time.
